Nintex Web Service call error: Unauthorized

Nintex Web Service call unauthorized (401)

Issue: When Nintex web service call fails with unauthorized error (401)

Remedy: Ensure all of the SSL certificates have been installed in IIS and SharePoint.

SharePoint: 
  1. Central Admin
  2. Security
  3. In the General Security Section, Manage Trust
  4. Select New
  5. Enter a friendly name.
  6. Browse to the saved file.

To save a certificate:
  1. Navigate to the site.
  2. Select the cert icon.
  3. View Certificates.
  4. Select the Details tab.
  5. Copy to file.
  6. Next, select DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER)
  7. Select/enter a path/filename.
  8. Next, and select Finish to save to local filesystem.
